She began her professional writing journey with a stint at a Hong Kong magazine, before taking up a Masters in Creative Writing at the UK’s Kingston University. Since, she’s built up an impressive career as a freelance bilingual writer, working with clients like Bulgari, MINI and most recently Apple, for whom she’s a go-to Traditional Chinese writer.
With a strong inclination towards the arts, Winnie approaches her brand work with creativity. She also regularly contributes artist interviews and show reviews to publications like Time Out Hong Kong, and her words can be found on the walls of galleries and in the pages of dance and theatre programmes.
All of which is woven around her personal writing projects. If Winnie’s copywriting work is dependable in its creativity and intelligence, her personal work – poetry and interviews – is strikingly experimental. And if all that doesn’t make Winnie intimidating enough, she boxes in her spare time.
