Moscow-born Svetlana moved to the UK to get her Masters in international journalism before embarking on a career in PR and communications. The proud holder of dual Russian-UK citizenship, she is a self-confessed fanatic of both countries and their deep and differing characters.
Today, Svetlana specialises in Russian adaptation – reworking marketing materials and brand comms for the likes of Nestlé, Nivea and New Zealand (yes, the country). She’s done everything from naming products, to launching B2B campaigns, to adapting high profile TVCs. A writer at heart with a strategist’s mind, she is also a social media expert and a research analyst.
With a keen interest in astronomy, it’s not unusual to find Svetlana out on a clear night leading tourists to spots near her adopted home of Reykjavík to wonder at the magic of the Northern Lights.
